We offer FREE Royal Mail 2nd Class Post / Delivery within the United Kingdom. We do not charge VAT on any UK orders.

Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. Please ensure your POSTAL address is stated at the time of purchase.

When you have finished adding products to your Shopping cart, you will then be asked for your billing address (this is the address your credit/debit card is registered to) and postal/shipping address.

You will always be able to see this TOTAL COST of your purchases.

Parcels to be delivered within the UK (excluding Guernsey and Jersey) will normally be delivered via Royal Mail Second Class post, however Royal Mail delivery may be delayed due to the Covid Pandemic.

NOTE: Due to the onerous tax rules of different countries we have taken the difficult decision to only sell to UK customers directly from our website. Customers outside the UK will not be able to purchase directly from our website.

However, for anyone outside the UK who maybe interested in purchasing an item from BookloverOxford, please contact us so that we can discuss with you and arrange to sell the item of interest to you through our eBay or ABEBooks stores. eBay/ ABEBooks will apply any relevant destination country tax calculations to the order at checkout. The customer shall be responsible for paying any additional Tax applicable to their destination country. The appropriate postal/ shipping cost will also be added to the order.

Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. Please ensure your POSTAL/SHIPPING address is stated at the time of purchase.

UK and EU distance selling regulations state that delivery should be within 30 days of order.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Booklover Oxford shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Force Majeure: war, strike, riot, crime, or an event described by the legal term act of God (pandemic, hurricane, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.)

In the event of Force Majeure Booklover Oxford shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

If you are unhappy with your item delivered in any way, please contact Booklover Oxford by email: [email protected] to discuss or outline your complaint. We will then try to resolve the matter fairly and to your satisfaction. During the weekend and bank holidays we may not be able to respond to your comments, but we will respond as soon as possible.

If you are still unhappy with your purchase after discussing the matter with Booklover Oxford then please return the item to: The Booklover, 2 Shepherds Pool, Evesham, Worcs WR11 4JG, UK. We suggest you use the original postal packaging and re-seal (or if you prefer use your own secure envelope/packaging) and get proof of postage.

When we have received the returned item we will then refund the full purchase price and original delivery cost. There will be no other cancellation charges, however we will not refund return postage costs.

UK and EU distance selling regulations state that online shoppers have a statutory “cooling-off” period of seven working days. You can cancel an online transaction and receive a refund anytime in the first seven working days from the date of receiving the item.

You are required to notify Booklover Oxford in writing if you require a refund and you have a responsibility to take reasonable care of the items you purchased and return the item to The Booklover 2 Shepherds Pool, Evesham, Worcs WR11 4JG, UK.
