Booklover Oxford uses PayPal as the ‘third party payment provider’ for all website payment transactions. This means you do not pass any sensitive bank account or credit/debit card details to this website, but all your details are processed safely & securely off our site via PayPal. As such, we do not see or store your financial details.

All prices shown on this website are in £ British Pounds Stirling (GBP) and include all UK taxes.

Individual prices (£) for all items for sale on this website are shown next to the item image and description. Postal/Shipping charges are added after you have added your Postal/Shipping address to the Checkout page.

POSTAL/SHIPPING CHARGES AND DELIVERY

Postal/shipping charges are calculated at the checkout after the delivery address has been input.

Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. Please ensure your POSTAL/SHIPPING address is stated at the time of purchase.

When you have finished adding products to your Shopping cart, you will then be asked for your billing address (this is the address your credit/debit card is registered to) and postal/shipping address, at which point the appropriate delivery/shipping charge will be added automatically to the total transaction costs.

You will always be able to see this TOTAL COST of your purchases including delivery charges before submitting your order.

UK only (FREE POSTAGE): parcels to be delivered within the UK (and also Guernsey and Jersey):

will normally be delivered via Royal Mail First or Second Class post, however delivery may take up to five working days. More expensive items may be delivered by Parcel Force Express 48 or Royal Mail Special Delivery and will need to be signed for.

Europe Small Parcels (A fixed international postage fee of £5.00 per book or item will be added at the checkout. However if the items/orders (excluding postal fees) are over the amount of £100.00 then Free Postage will be offered.

Parcels to be delivered to European countries (excluding UK) will normally be posted via Standard Airmail, however, more expensive items may be sent via Airmail Special Delivery or Airsure and will need to be signed for.

International Small Parcels outside Europe (A fixed international postage fee of £8.00 per book or item will be added at the checkout. However if the items/orders (excluding postal fees) are over the amount of £200.00 then Free Postage will be offered.

Parcels to be delivered to countries outside Europe will normally be posted via Standard Airmail, however, more expensive items may be sent via Airmail Special Delivery or Airsure and will need to be signed for. Larger heavier orders over 2Kg may be sent via Surface Mail and may take much longer to be delivered, up to 60 days (this will depend upon the cost of the item against the cost of airmail).

We do not deliver to shipping agent addresses.

Delivery will normally be between the hours of 7am and 6pm local time; we are unable to confirm a time.

Booklover Oxford will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.

UK and EU distance selling regulations state that delivery should be within 30 days of order.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Booklover Oxford shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Force Majeure: war, strike, riot, crime, or an event described by the legal term act of God (hurricane, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.)

In the event of Force Majeure Booklover Oxford shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

RETURNS POLICY

If you are unhappy with your item delivered in any way, please contact Booklover Oxford by email: bookloveroxford@gmail.com to discuss or outline your complaint. We will then try to resolve the matter fairly and to your satisfaction. During the weekend and bank holidays we may not be able to respond to your comments, but we will respond as soon as possible.

If you are still unhappy with your purchase after discussing the matter with Booklover Oxford then please return the item to: The Booklover, 2 Shepherds Pool, Evesham, Worcs WR11 4JG, UK. We suggest you use the original postal packaging and re-seal (or if you prefer use your own secure envelope/packaging) and get proof of postage.

When we have received the returned item we will then refund the full purchase price and original delivery cost. There will be no other cancellation charges, however we will not refund return postage costs.

UK and EU distance selling regulations state that online shoppers have a statutory “cooling-off” period of seven working days. You can cancel an online transaction and receive a refund anytime in the first seven working days from the date of receiving the item.

You are required to notify Booklover Oxford in writing if you require a refund and you have a responsibility to take reasonable care of the items you purchased and return the item to The Booklover 2 Shepherds Pool, Evesham, Worcs WR11 4JG, UK.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory legal rights.
