Synopsis of Tess: Growing Up in Post-war Chipping Campden 1946-1968:

Tess Taylor recalls growing up in Chipping Campden 1946-1968. Childhood memories.

Tess grew up in Catbrook with her family and a menagerie of pets, where she had a happy carefree childhood, developing a love and bond with Campden and the surrounding countryside.

Attending St Catherine’s Primary and Campden Grammer Schools, life was less idyllic, though she enjoyed playing in the schools’ sports teams.

Traing as a nurse, she worked locally in both Shipston-on-Stour and in Morton-in-Marsh hospitals. For twenty three years was Practice Nurse at Stow-on-the-Wold Surgery, until she retired in 2013 andmoved back to her home, Campden.
