Previous owner’s sticky address label to inside front leaf and the number ‘4216’ hand written in red Biro to top right first inside page, no other inscriptions. Page ends slightly sunned. Frederik Stokhuyzen was born Oudshoorn (ZH) in 1890, he died in 1976. At the Technical University of Delft, he studied electrical engineering. From childhood where Stokhuyzen much interest in mills throughout his life he endeavored to counteract the impending demise of this traditional Dutch tool. The Hijde this partly as a board member and chairman of the Dutch Windmill.

He has written numerous publications mill. And it was in 1961 Mills, a book that by its expressiveness become a standard. From the issue experienced fewer than five prints.”
