Synopsis of The Case of the Cornish Patsy: A Druid Investigator Mystery:

Gwion is a Druid detective – just a hint of trouble, a dryad’s whisper, a deer’s snort, and off he goes on a new case, maintaining the harmony of the land. He’s off to magical Cornwall, and before he’s finished, he’ll have gathered geese, gals, giants and a fanatical geography teacher along the way!

His crazy entourage will traverse the length of the county before the final showdown with the forces of evil, on May Day Morn. Our hero and his disparate band of initially clueless assistants take on some nasty beings who may or may not be myths, legends, nursery rhymes or indeed archetypes. Through his rollicking adventure, you’ll have a glimpse into the mindset of a real Druid, building magical relationships with the world in the twenty first century.

The author Penny Billington is a Druid of twenty years practical experience, trained by the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, and am the editor of their magazine, Touchstone.
