Intact clean condition outer stapled card covers (black & white pictorial front cover) with slight creasing to edges and corners and slight signs of handling. Signed by the artist by Gray Morrow to front cover in gold ink plus blue ink 40/250 below signature. No other inscriptions. Includes introduction by Clifford Meth in English text, plus 16 inside full-page black and white art sketches. Image shown is actual item for sale.

This is a portfolio of Gray’s work that was published in 1994. Clifford Meth gave a nice introduction to the portfolio which opened with these words: “One of the premier science-fiction artists of the last three decades, Gray Morrow has become something of a legend amongst his fans and fellow professionals.” The front cover image depicts Deona and Slag from Gray’s epic EDGE OF CHAOS mini-series.

This portfolio contains sixteen full-page black and white art sketches plus front cover sketch by Gray Morrow.

Dwight Graydon “Gray” Morrow (1934 – 2001) was an American illustrator of comics and paperback books. He is co-creator of the Marvel Comics muck-monster the Man-Thing and of DC Comics Old West vigilante El Diablo. His other notable works include Tarzan, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon and The Illustrated Roger Zelazny.
